This tool is an interactive viewer that allows users to see the statistical shape of each individual update from the LA County Registrar Recorder/County Clerk as they count ballots.

I will run this tool for every election that happens in LA County from now on. I have some historical data, but after the election unless the snapshots are logged and made public the time series data sets are lost as the results are aggregated on the county website.

Given all the bad faith conspiracy nonsense surrounding our elections I thought it was important to make this tool as public and transparent as possible. All of the scraped data sets can be found in the github repository. But most importantly you can see the processes doing the scraping in the github actions log on this repository. You will be able to verify that during election vote counting I run this process continuously polling the county results website every minute.
